Jessi is the Master Penguin (aka owner) of Iceberg Web Design in Anoka, MN. She has been working with WordPress since 2006, and today runs a team that focuses on custom WordPress development. Jessi’s passion lies in building relationships with other entrepreneurs and developers in the WordPress community. She has been traveling to WordCamps from the west to east coast, speaking and sharing her experiences in business.
When not wrangling a business or the Minneapolis WordCamp, you can find Jessi chasing her two young boys in the garden.

Leslie is a UX Designer based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She loves the multi-faceted world of user experience design and as a former college librarian, also believes in the importance of research, organization, and information architecture for the projects she works on. Leslie helps to design, manage, and maintain a few WordPress sites in her spare time and appreciates the cooperation and collaboration found in both the local and worldwide WordPress communities. She also believes in the importance of lifelong learning and educational opportunities for all.

Michelle is an independent graphic designer, recently relocated to Minneapolis from Chicago. She was formally schooled in design including print, branding, packaging, etc., with additional education in Psychology and Sociology, all tying together in a love of How To Solve Problems. Lately she has been specializing in WordPress websites, infographics, and high-end presentations for her clients. She loves the WordPress community and speaks/volunteers/organizes at WordCamps and events around the country.

Shaya just graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Writing and Rhetoric. She is looking for work opportunities, particularly involving content writing, grant writing, and editing. She also holds a degree in art. She has been designing web sites for people off and on since 1998, which led her to WordPress! Nate Finch has been building websites since 2011. He loves web development because it is the perfect mix of problem solving, helping people, and lifelong learning. As VP of Development at The Digital Ring, Nate splits his time between developing websites and developing developers. Prior to joining TDR, Nate freelanced, working with dozens of clients through platforms like Toptal and Codeable, and completed a brief stint as a web engineer with 10up. Nate collects masters degrees, has traveled to six continents, lived on four, speaks Spanish, and outside of work, family, friends, food, coffee, and cooking are his favorite activities. He lives in Wisconsin with his wonderful wife and two daughters.

As junebird creative, Christine’s main goal is to provide clients with solutions that fit their budget, meet their business needs, and scale as their organization grows. The holy grail of “good, fast, and cheap” is, in Christine’s perspective, not unattainable when put in relative terms. The secret formula? Prioritize, strategize and execute.
Christine completed her MBA at the University of St. Thomas’s Opus College of Business in 2017 and holds dual BA’s in Biology and Studio Art {with an emphasis in graphic design} from St. Catherine University. Her professional experience includes Interactive Project Management, UX/UA Architecture (both functional and technical), and Content Strategy, a triad which has prepared her well to provide comprehensive brand and marketing solutions for her clients. -

Mike “Demo” Demopoulos is a lover of open source first, specific tools later. He believes in sharing his business acumen and marketing insight with others. Believing there are too many Mikes in the world, he prefers to go by Demo. He is proud to be the Lead Hand Shaker at Web Ventures, a founder-focused investor in the WordPress ecosystem. As a community evangelist for BoldGrid, Demo hosts events to bring people together. He enjoys speaking on various open source topics in addition to business and marketing-related topics.
