Lead Organizer

Jessi is the Master Penguin (aka owner) of Iceberg Web Design in Anoka, MN. She has been working with WordPress since 2006, and today runs a team that focuses on custom WordPress development. Jessi’s passion lies in building relationships with other entrepreneurs and developers in the WordPress community. She has been traveling to WordCamps from the west to east coast, speaking and sharing her experiences in business.

When not wrangling a business or the Minneapolis WordCamp, you can find Jessi chasing her two young boys in the garden.

Chrissy Larson

Design Wrangler

Chrissy is a graphic designer, illustrator, and recent graduate from the University of Minnesota with a BFA in graphic design. Formerly a WordPress web designer and front-end developer, Chrissy is now working as a design intern for 3M in Maplewood. Outside of work she also spends time on volunteer and freelance projects, ranging from brand identity to custom web development in WordPress. Since her first exposure to WordPress in 2016, she has traveled to WordCamps in Minneapolis, Nashville, and Orange County. View her work here!

Le is a Senior Application Analyst at General Mills, supporting and improving sales systems and business processes.  His very first WordCamp conference was back in 2015, which gave him exposure to the amazing WordPress community.  Le is the founder of Tech On The Eastside, an organization to inspire and educate the community about IT careers and professions.  During his free time, Le spends his time with family and friends.

Leslie Mollner

Leslie is a UX Designer at Halftone Digital in Minneapolis, MN who is happy to help with creating a variety of digital products using human-centered design approaches. She loves the multi-faceted world of user experience design and as a former college librarian, also believes in the importance of research, organization, and information architecture for the projects she works on. Leslie helps to design, manage, and maintain a few WordPress sites in her spare time and appreciates the cooperation and collaboration found in both the local and worldwide WordPress communities. She also believes in the importance of lifelong learning and educational opportunities for all. Leslie lives in Saint Paul, MN with her husband and two beagles.

Michelle Schulp

Michelle is an independent graphic designer, recently relocated to Minneapolis from Chicago. She was formally schooled in design including print, branding, packaging, etc., with additional education in Psychology and Sociology, all tying together in a love of How To Solve Problems. Lately she has been specializing in WordPress websites, infographics, and high-end presentations for her clients. She loves the WordPress community and speaks/volunteers/organizes at WordCamps and events around the country.

Shaya Kraut

Volunteer / Social Media Wrangler

Shaya just graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Writing and Rhetoric. She is looking for work opportunities, particularly involving content writing, grant writing, and editing. She also holds a degree in art. She has been designing web sites for people off and on since 1998, which led her to WordPress! Her current WordPress project is her portfolio site, kraut-communications.com.
