What got you into working with WordPress?

I started working with WordPress 2.8 during a college web-maintenance internship, and haven’t looked back since.

What do you like best about WordPress?

The large installation base and community. If you’d like to customize your WordPress site a certain way, chances are someone else has already attempted a similar customization (and written a post about it). It’s great to be able to leverage the community to accomplish great things quickly.

What WordPress project has been your favorite?

I’m currently working on a redesign of the RushRiverBeer.com website. The design is beautiful, and integrating e-commerce has been an interesting challenge. And of course, it’s always fun to work with product that you’re passionate about!

What would we not guess about you outside of WordCamp?

Despite living/working in the city I love being in the woods hunting, fishing, camping or hiking.

What do you like about WordCamps?

I love attending sessions with solid content. Working in the web industry requires constant learning, and WordCamps always provide a good overview of the latest tech and trends.
