What inspired or motivated you to give this talk at WordCamp?<\/h2>\n

Recently I was interviewed on a WP show and was asked about my WordCamp talks. I had to admit that I had never given one. That’s when it hit me that I’ve been in this community far too long to have not given a WordCamp talk. Shortly after that interview I applied to speak at this camp.<\/p>\n

Do you have any advice or words of encouragement for those who are thinking about getting involved in the WordPress community?<\/h2>\n

If you’re thinking about it, you’re already there, so just start asking how you can help and go for it.<\/p>\n

If you could make one improvement to WordPress today, what would it be?<\/h2>\n

Having more grace.<\/p>\n

Who do you most admire and why?<\/h2>\n

I most admire Lewis Carroll’s Alice for her curiosity & tenacity.<\/p>\n
